51304754‑150 (MC‑PAIH03 HLAI) is an I/O card for Honeywell TPS / TDC‑3000 UCN Distributed Control System, compatible with HPM and APM process managers for analog transmitter signal acquisition. It is revised hardware version of 51304754‑100, fully interchangeable within TDC‑3000 platform.

This module is End‑of‑Life (EOL), original new manufacturing has been discontinued. Most available units on market are used pulled‑out or refurbished tested spares.

Large quantities are still operating in legacy petrochemical, refinery, chemical and power plants. This card collects critical process analog variables; card failure will cause loss of process measurements and affect control loops & interlock logic, so spare‑part replacement demand remains high.

Main Functions

1. 16‑channel differential analog input: accepts 4‑20mA current and 0‑10VDC voltage signals, compatible with 2‑wire transmitters and self‑powered transmitters for flow, pressure, level and other process variables.
2. Galvanic isolation and signal conditioning between field side and system side, suppress industrial electromagnetic noise and protect controller hardware.
3. High‑precision A/D conversion: 16‑bit ADC with ±0.1% full‑scale accuracy. Configurable input ranges and digital filtering for various field conditions.
4. UCN bus communication: convert analog field signals into digital data, transmit data to HPM / APM processor via UCN bus, then transfer through LCN network to operator stations for display, PID control, alarm and interlock logic processing.
5. On‑board self‑diagnosis: detect channel open‑circuit, transmitter wire break, over‑range and module hardware failure. LED status indicators are equipped, fault alarms will be uploaded to DCS for fast troubleshooting.
6. Hot‑swap supported: online replacement in cabinet without interrupting other control loops, reduce plant maintenance downtime.
7. Conformal coated PCB for harsh cabinet environment with high humidity and dust.

Applications & Purpose

Installed in I/O slots of HPM / APM cabinet for Honeywell TPS / TDC‑3000 DCS system.

Widely used in petrochemical, refinery, power plant, chemical and pharmaceutical process industries.

Typical field usage: acquire 4‑20mA / voltage signals from pressure, flow, level and temperature transmitters; process variable monitoring, PID closed‑loop regulation and process over‑limit alarm.

It works at DCS I/O interface layer, only for analog signal acquisition from field devices, without output driving capability.
