The A6824 is a gateway & communication interface card for AMS6500 TSI machinery protection rack.

1. Rack‑wide Data Collection Reads vibration, shaft displacement, speed, temperature, alarm and trip status data from all monitoring cards inside AMS6500 rack via backplane bus. Aggregates all machinery health parameters within one chassis.

3. Local Display Bus Drive Provides up to 6 independent RS‑485 display buses, power and data signal for local rack‑mount operator display panels for on‑site machine status viewing.
4. Hardware Diagnosis & Status Indication Front‑panel LED indicators for Power, Communication, Module Fault. Built‑in self‑diagnosis for power supply, back‑plane link, internal hardware failure. Supports password‑protected configuration setting.

A6824 is the essential communication gateway component of Emerson AMS 6500 (CSI6500) TSI machinery protection system, installed inside IMR6000 series 19‑inch rack.

3. Delivers real‑time vibration, thrust position, rotational speed, alarm & trip information to DCS for central monitoring, early warning and predictive maintenance analysis.
4. Supports local on‑rack HMI display for field maintenance personnel, independent of control‑room system.
5. Non‑redundant A6824 for general‑importance machines; A6824R redundant version for high‑availability critical turbo‑machinery within IMR6500 rack.
