IMR6000/10 is a modular 19‑inch rack chassis, serving as the mechanical and electrical backbone for MMS6000 monitoring system, not a signal‑processing monitor module itself.

It provides up to 10 slots for MMS6000 series monitor cards (vibration, displacement, speed, temperature monitors), plus dedicated slots for logic board and communication interface modules. All plug‑in modules can be hot‑swapped for maintenance without system shutdown.
- Integrated Backplane Power Distribution Internal backplane delivers regulated +24 VDC power to all inserted modules. It supports dual redundant 24 VDC power inputs with diode decoupling to enhance power‑supply reliability for critical rotating‑machinery applications.
- Internal Backplane RS‑485 Communication Bus Embedded RS‑485 bus on the backplane enables inter‑module data exchange inside the rack. All monitoring cards share this bus to transmit measurement data, alarm status and fault information to interface modules for uploading to DCS, SCADA or host monitoring software.
- Centralized Field‑signal Termination Rear side of the frame is equipped with mass spring‑cage terminal blocks. Field sensor signals (eddy‑current probe, vibration transducer, speed sensor, temperature signal), power supply and alarm relay signals are terminated at rear terminals, then routed to individual monitor modules via internal backplane wiring.
