Main Functions

1. Redundant power merging & distribution: Accept multiple main and auxiliary redundant power inputs. Implement bumpless power switch‑over via diode auctioneering circuit. System power supply will not be interrupted even if one power source fails.
2. Terminal baseboard: Equipped with screw‑type terminal blocks. External AC/DC power feeds connect to this baseboard, then distribute regulated 24VDC output to rack controllers, I/O modules and field instrument loops for power bus convergence and branching.More products: www.plcva.com
3. Power protection: Built‑in over‑load and short‑circuit protection with surge suppression, to protect downstream DCS controllers and I/O modules against power anomalies.
4. Wide‑range power input support: Accept 85‑264VAC / 90‑375VDC input, maximum output 20A@24VDC, serves as hardware foundation for primary & secondary redundant power loops.
5. Mechanical mounting base: DIN‑rail mount structure. It acts as the assembly base for Ovation power supply units, providing both mechanical fixation and electrical interconnection.

Application Purpose

This is critical power‑supply component for Emerson Ovation Distributed Control System (DCS) cabinet.

1. Typical sites: Thermal power plants, gas‑fired power stations, water‑treatment facilities and large petrochemical plants equipped with Ovation control system.
2. It collects multi‑channel redundant external cabinet power feeds and provides stable 24VDC power for Ovation controllers, various I/O cards and field instrument loops.
3. Designed to work with Ovation redundant power supply units, to achieve uninterrupted power feeding for whole DCS system.
4. Cannot operate standalone; must be assembled together with matching Ovation power supply modules to form a complete power system.
