PR6423/000‑001 probe plus CON041 preamplifier forms a complete 8 mm non‑contact eddy‑current measuring system. Originally developed by German EPRO and later integrated into Emerson turbomachinery monitoring portfolio. It is widely paired with MMS6000 and AMS6500 (CSI6500) TSI machinery protection systems and complies with API‑670 rotating‑machinery protection standard. The full assembly consists of eddy‑current probe, armored extension cable and DIN‑rail‑mounted CON041 preamplifier. This hardware family has reached OEM End‑of‑Life. New projects adopt successor sensor series. Available supplies are surplus original stock and refurbished spare parts for maintenance of thermal‑power and petrochemical critical rotating units.

Main Functions

1. Non‑contact measurement: Based on eddy‑current effect, the probe measures gap variation between rotating shaft and probe tip without physical contact. It captures radial shaft vibration, axial displacement, rotor eccentricity and key‑phasor speed signals.
2. Signal demodulation & conversion: CON041 preamplifier provides RF excitation, demodulates impedance variation of probe coil and outputs linear DC voltage of ‑2V ~ ‑18V, with output frequency range 0‑20 kHz, directly compatible with TSI monitoring modules.
3. Matched system assembly: 8 mm probe PR6423/000‑001 with M10×1 mounting thread. CON041 fits standard DIN‑rail mounting, powered by negative DC supply ‑23 ~ ‑32 V. Built‑in self‑diagnosis for short‑circuit and cable open‑circuit faults.More products: www.plcva.com
4. Wide‑range industrial durability: Probe operating temperature ‑40℃ ~ +180℃; preamplifier ‑30℃ ~ +100℃. Probe rated IP67. Explosion‑proof variant available for hazardous chemical locations.
5. Factory‑calibrated complete set: System is pre‑calibrated against 42CrMo steel target at factory. Only air‑gap adjustment is required during field commissioning; full‑set recalibration is unnecessary.
