1. DCS Network‑Host Computer Communication Gateway It works cooperatively with INNIS21 module to form a complete Computer Interface Unit (CIU). It acts as the data bridge between INFI‑NET control token‑ring network and upper‑level host computers, operator workstations and data acquisition servers.

1. Bidirectional High‑speed Process Data Transmission Transmits real‑time process variables, alarm events, system status and tag data from DCS controllers (such as BRC300) to host systems; forwards operator commands, parameter modification instructions from host side back to DCS control network. Supports massive process point data upload and report transmission.plcva.com
2. Multiple Physical Interfaces Equipped with SCSI high‑speed interface (primary channel) and dual RS‑232 serial ports. SCSI is the preferred connection for host computer; RS‑232 interfaces provide backup communication channels, connected via NTPM01 termination unit.
3. Redundancy Support & Hot‑swap Capability Supports redundant configuration for high‑reliability sites. Single‑slot rack installation, supports hot‑plugging under system running status without powering off the cabinet. Powered by backplane 5VDC, max power consumption approx 10W.
4. Hardware Self‑diagnosis and Status Indication On‑board LED status indicators for module running, communication link and fault alarms. Performs self‑diagnosis for hardware failure, link error and configuration abnormality for on‑site maintenance troubleshooting.plcva.com

Note: This module is EOL (End‑of‑Life / Obsolete). Original manufacturer production has been discontinued, only used as spare replacement parts for legacy INFI‑90 / Symphony Harmony DCS systems.
