Main Functions

Analog‑to‑Digital Signal Conversion It collects analog voltage signals from field transmitters and sensors. Supports input range ‑10 VDC ~ +10 VDC, 12‑bit A/D conversion resolution, per‑channel conversion time 1 ms, total update time 4 ms for four channels. With internal 250‑ohm shunt resistor activated by jumper, it can also acquire‑40 ~ +40 mA current loop signals (such as 4‑20 mA transmitter output). Electrical Isolation & Anti‑interference 1500 VAC galvanic isolation between field analog circuit and PLC logic backplane bus. Suppresses ground loop disturbance and surge noise, protects CPU backplane circuit from field‑side interference.
Signal Filtering & Factory Calibration Built‑in hardware low‑pass filter with 17 Hz response frequency to filter high‑frequency noise. Factory pre‑calibrated to guarantee measurement accuracy for industrial field conditions.
Backplane Bus Data Interaction Installed on Series 90‑30 PLC I/O rack slot. Exchanges converted digital process data with CPU via PLC backplane bus, powered by rack backplane power supply (+5VDC and +24VDC) without external power wiring.
Status Indication & Basic Diagnostics Front‑panel LED status indicator shows module power‑on and running state. Detects module hardware faults and reports fault information to PLC system for maintenance troubleshooting.

Note: IC693ALG220 is EOL (End‑of‑Life) obsolete module. It cannot run independently and must be used together with GE Series 90‑30 CPU and rack base unit. Original mass‑production has been discontinued, only used as aftermarket replacement spare part.
