1. Serves as core logic‑processing and signal‑interface unit for ABB G3LD automation rack‑based systems, implements real‑time signal acquisition and logic computation.
2. Processes digital and analog field I/O signals, converts raw field signals into internal bus‑compatible data for system controllers.
3. Equipped with standard Ethernet communication interface; supports optional EtherCAT fieldbus connection via matched coupler modules for high‑speed industrial data exchange.
4. 24 VDC nominal power supply, passive cooling design; provides surge protection and high‑voltage isolation conforming to IEC 60255‑5 industrial standard, insulation resistance ≥100 MΩ @500 VDC.
5. Supports modular hardware expansion, works cooperatively with other G3LD series sub‑boards; stores system configuration and fault event records on on‑board memory chips.
6. Rack‑mount hot‑plug‑capable hardware; monitors internal board status, reports hardware failures and communication anomalies to upper‑level control system.
