Function

1. Adopt TMR triple modular redundant architecture, three independent circuits work in parallel with hardware voting mechanism, eliminating single point of failure.
2. Receive safety logic commands from Tricon controller and output 24VDC discrete on/off signals to field devices.
3. Support supervised and non-supervised output modes. In supervised mode, it can detect field circuit faults including open circuit, short circuit, load loss and blown fuse.
4. Built-in comprehensive self-diagnosis, continuously monitor module health and channel status, upload fault alarms to operator station.
5. Support hot swap. The module can be replaced online without shutting down the whole SIS system during maintenance.
6. Channel isolation and anti-interference design to resist industrial electromagnetic noise.
7. Meet IEC61508 SIL3 safety integrity level for safety critical protection.

Main Application

1. Designed for TRICONEX Tricon SIS, ESD Emergency Shutdown System, F&G Fire and Gas System and burner management system.
2. Output safety trip signals to control solenoid valves, shutdown valves, relays, pumps and circuit breakers.
3. Widely used in oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical, refining, coal chemical, long-distance pipeline and power industries.
4. When process parameters exceed safety threshold, this module executes safety interlock action to cut off hazardous equipment and avoid accident.
5. Installed inside Tricon rack, paired with corresponding terminal boards to realize field discrete control output for safety protection.
