Function

1. Equipped with dual BNC network ports: NET1 for peer-to-peer communication and time synchronization among multiple Tricon controllers; NET2 for communication with external host systems.
2. Supports Triconex proprietary TSAA protocol over TCP/UDP/IP, enabling data interaction with TriStation engineering workstation, OPC server, DDE server and SOE event recording system.
3. Realizes data exchange between Tricon SIS and external DCS, HMI, SCADA or other host systems.
4. Built-in network diagnostic function, continuously monitors communication status, reports network fault, link failure and module health alarms to the operator station.
5. Supports data read/write for assigned alias variables of Tricon controller.
6. Designed for TMR safety system architecture, meets SIL3 safety requirement for safety-related data transmission.
7. Hot swappable for online replacement without stopping the whole SIS system during maintenance.

Main Application

1. Designed exclusively for TRICONEX Tricon SIS, including ESD Emergency Shutdown System, F&G Fire & Gas System and BMS Burner Management System.
2. Used to build communication links between Tricon controllers, and connect Tricon safety system to DCS, HMI, event logging and monitoring host.
3. Widely applied in oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical, refining, coal chemical, long-distance pipeline and power industries.
4. Transmits safety-related real-time process data, alarm information and sequence of events (SOE) between safety controller and external monitoring platform.
5. Installed in Tricon rack, as core network interface card to complete the data interconnection of safety instrumented system.
