1. Hydrostatic liquid level measurement: It measures liquid column pressure at the tank bottom, and converts pressure value into liquid level height based on fluid density. It supports programmable measuring range from 0.2 mH₂O up to 35 mH₂O.www.plcva.com
2. Standard signal output: 2-wire 4–20 mA analogue signal transmission, sending real-time level data to marine tank monitoring system or vessel PLC. Optional built-in Pt100 temperature sensor for simultaneous liquid temperature acquisition.
3. High corrosion-resistant sensing: Titanium housing & titanium diaphragm, fully electron-beam welded structure without gaskets. Resists seawater, hydrocarbon oil and many chemical media; transducer is IP68 submersible, amplifier box IP56 weatherproof.

5. Explosion protection & marine certification: With Ex ia IIC T4 Ga intrinsic safety certification, approved by major marine classification societies, applicable for hazardous zones onboard vessels.

2. Applications

1. Primary application: Marine tank gauging on ships and offshore platforms, used for continuous liquid level monitoring and vessel draft measurement.www.plcva.com
2. Typical monitored tanks: Ballast tanks, fuel oil tanks, lube oil tanks, fresh water tanks, service tanks and other tanks with liquid compatible with titanium material.
3. System role: Field sensing unit of ship tank monitoring system. Multiple MAS2600 transmitters are deployed to realize distributed level measurement of all liquid tanks, provide data for cargo calculation, ballast control and vessel stability management.
4. Safety & compliance objective: Deliver accurate tank liquid volume data for ship operation, cargo auditing, stability calculation; satisfy SOLAS and marine class survey requirements, prevent tank overflow or insufficient liquid monitoring risks.
