This module is the core synchronizing control unit for marine generator paralleling system:

1. Measure real-time electrical parameters: voltage, frequency and phase difference between the incoming standby generator and the ship’s main busbar.www.plcva.com
2. Compare the measured signals and send speed adjustment commands to the governor of the standby generator to tune its frequency and phase.
3. Issue the closing signal to the generator circuit breaker at the precise moment when synchronization conditions are satisfied, to safely connect the generator onto the ship power bus.
4. Provide protection interlock: block breaker closing if voltage, frequency or phase deviation exceeds preset safe thresholds, to prevent damaging the generator and onboard power network.
5. Monitor module operating status and generate fault alarms for abnormal measurement signals or synchronization failure.www.plcva.com
6. Support manual and automatic synchronization modes for marine power plant operation.
