1. Core Functions
   Power distribution when the combined power of multiple units exceeds the limit: Multiple diesel or gas generators operate in parallel, automatically distributing active and reactive power, etc.
   Grid monitoring: Collecting voltage, current, frequency, and circuit breaker status, identifying information on grid segmentation and bus tie states
   Startup and shutdown procedures: Automatically starting or stopping standby generators based on the total load of the grid
   Overload prediction or overload protection function: Before heavy load is applied, predicting the grid capacity and requiring the activation of standby units to prevent grid frequency and voltage loss
   Fault management: Automatic logic for unit disconnection when the generator fails
   System communication function: Can exchange data with other boards of the SYNPOL D and serve as the core computing unit of the PMS system

2.Applications
Mainly: Used in ship power management systems, followed by land-based isolated power stations and diesel generator sets in offshore platforms
Target application: Maintaining the stability of grid frequency, improving fuel consumption, preventing overloading, and ensuring continuous power supply and normal operation

3.Shutdown Status
✅ This product has been discontinued.
SYNPOL D is the older platform of ABB’s previous generation. The original manufacturer has stopped production of 3DDE300412 and no longer accepts new orders. It is a rare product.
