Product Description
The WOODWARD UG-8 is a self-contained hydraulic oil chamber and built-in gear oil pump mechanical hydraulic speed control assembly. It is driven by the engine’s main shaft to the input shaft. The flyweight senses the real-time speed and relies on the hydraulic amplification mechanism to drive the output shaft. It mechanically connects the diesel engine / gas engine / steam turbine fuel rack or steam valve.
It features closed-loop speed control, parallel load distribution, fuel limit protection, local / remote speed setting, and shutdown drive functions.
