MXR500-256 belongs to Mitsubishi’s new generation MX Controller (MX-R series integrated controller).
Model Meaning
MX: New FA integrated controller platform, integrating sequential logic, multi-axis motion, and industrial network;
R: MX-R model, compatible with the entire iQ-R series of I/O and special modules expansion;
500: High-end high-performance specification;
256: The single controller can support up to 256-axis servo synchronous control.
Hardware Interface Explanation
P1/P2/P3: Three independent CC-Link IE TSN real-time industrial Ethernet, respectively capable of connecting servo drives, remote I/O, upper computer / vision;
USB: Program download, debugging, memory card reading and writing;
Status indicator lights: RUN running, ERROR fault, program card, communication link diagnosis.

   A single controller can simultaneously achieve three types of control, replacing the traditional “PLC logic CPU + independent motion CPU” dual CPU architecture:

   Maximum 256-axis servo synchronization, 128-axis can achieve 1.2ms high-speed operation cycle;

   The motion computing performance is about 10 times that of the old iQ-R motion CPU;
   3) TSN real-time network control
   Built-in three CC-Link IE TSN, achieving precise synchronization of servo, vision, remote IO, and upper computer clock, supporting mixed cycle control (2ms/5ms/10ms parallel).
