1.Core Functions
- Central computing hub of the whole monitoring system As the main control unit of CSI 6500 chassis, it coordinates data calculation of all acquisition cards (A6410 vibration modules), relay output backplanes (A6500-RR) and communication modules. All raw signals including vibration, displacement, temperature and rotating speed are processed uniformly by this card.
- Real-time spectrum and fault characteristic algorithm calculation Equipped with high-speed industrial processor, it continuously performs time-domain waveform processing, frequency spectrum analysis, order tracking, bearing fault demodulation and harmonic calculation. It compares real-time readings with equipment threshold standards and automatically identifies faults such as rotor unbalance, shaft misalignment, bearing damage and gear pitting.
- Centralized multi-channel data management and cache storage It aggregates monitoring data of all channels inside the rack, locally caches long-term trend curves, fault waveforms and alarm logs, and supports long-term historical data storage for post-failure equipment traceability analysis.
- Cooperative control under redundant architecture Suffix R stands for Redundant. It supports hot redundant operation of two CPU cards (primary + standby). If the primary CPU fails, malfunctions or is removed, the standby CPU takes over all monitoring, interlock and communication tasks seamlessly without bumpless transfer, and the unit protection logic will never be interrupted.
- Forwarding data via multiple external communication protocols Built-in multiple industrial communication interfaces. It uploads machinery health data and fault alarms to upper monitoring software and plant DCS/PLC systems via standard protocols such as Ethernet and field bus, realizing centralized status monitoring of all plant equipment.
- Interlock logic calculation and command distribution With programmable safety interlock logic embedded, once parameters like vibration and temperature exceed preset limits, the CPU automatically generates commands for alarm, unit load reduction or emergency shutdown, and distributes instructions to A6500-RR redundant relay rack to output hard contact signals for on-site safety actuation.
- Full-chassis hardware diagnosis and status self-inspection It periodically scans all I/O acquisition cards, power supplies, relay backplanes and sensor circuits in the chassis, detects card faults, sensor open circuits and power supply abnormalities in real time, and actively uploads self-test alarms to upper systems.
