1.Core Functions

1. Multi-channel High-precision Temperature Acquisition (Core Feature) 4 independent channels support simultaneous temperature measurement of field RTD sensors. 16-bit AD conversion ensures high measurement accuracy, automatically compensates resistance error caused by long connecting wires to eliminate industrial measurement deviation. Each channel can be individually configured to mix PT100, Cu50 and other sensor types.
2. Analog-to-Digital Signal Conversion Converts variable resistance analog signals of thermal resistors into standardized digital temperature values readable by PLC (resolution 0.1℃). No manual programming for resistance-temperature curve conversion; Celsius temperature data can be read directly.
3. Open/Short Circuit Fault Diagnosis Real-time detection of probe open circuit and short circuit for each channel. The PLC generates dedicated fault alarm codes upon abnormal signals to quickly locate damaged temperature sensors and prevent thermal control system out-of-control.
4. PLC Closed-loop PID Temperature Regulation Collected temperature data feeds the built-in PID function of S7-200 SMART CPU. Independent constant temperature closed-loop control can be realized without additional temperature controllers for heating, cooling and heat preservation processes.
5. Flexible Temperature Point Expansion A single S7-200 SMART CPU can install up to 6 EM AR04 modules, supporting a maximum of 24 independent temperature measuring points to meet multi-point temperature monitoring requirements.
6. Industrial Anti-interference Digital Filter Built-in hardware digital filter with adjustable filtering time via software, suppresses electromagnetic interference generated by inverters and contactors in workshops to stabilize temperature readings without signal fluctuation.
7. Data Upload & Remote Monitoring Temperature data can be uploaded to HMI touch screens, industrial PCs and SCADA systems through PLC Ethernet / RS485 communication, supporting remote temperature viewing, historical data logging and over-temperature alarm notification.
