Main Function

1. Provides 8 self‑configurable 24 VDC digital channels, each channel can be freely set as sink digital input (DI) or source digital output (DO) without hardware modification, mixed DI/DO combination supported.
2. Integrated DeviceNet communication adapter, exchanges field I/O status data with Rockwell PLC controllers over DeviceNet fieldbus network.
3. Source transistor output: per‑channel 0.5 A max current, total module output 4 A; electronic over‑current fuse protection per channel, short‑circuit protection built‑in.
4. Sink digital input with adjustable input filter (0‑16000 μs) for signal de‑bouncing against industrial field interference.
5. Sealed rugged housing with IP67 / IP69K protection rating, supports direct on‑machine mounting without additional protective cabinet.
6. LED indicators for module power, network communication status and individual channel diagnosis; detects wire break, short‑circuit faults and transmits diagnostic information to upper‑level controller.
7. M8 quick‑disconnect I/O connectors and M12 network connector, fast field wiring and replacement, reduces wiring workload and human error.

• Belongs to Allen‑Bradley ArmorBlock On‑Machine distributed I/O system, deployed directly on machinery close to sensors and actuators to shorten field cable length and cut wiring cost.
• Collects digital signals from proximity sensors, photoelectric sensors, limit switches, push‑buttons; drives solenoid valves, indicators and other 24VDC field actuators.
• Typical industries & equipment: automotive assembly lines, robot end‑of‑arm tooling, packaging machinery, material‑handling conveyors, logistics sorting equipment, general automated production machines.
• Works together with Rockwell ControlLogix / CompactLogix PLC via DeviceNet bus, expands remote digital I/O capacity for automation control systems.
