Main Functions

1. Complete Genset Automation Control Performs automatic start‑stop, pre‑lubrication, cool‑down and shutdown sequences for diesel / gas engine generator sets. Supports AUTO, MANUAL, TEST and STOP operation modes. Monitors engine parameters via J1939 CAN bus, including engine speed, coolant temperature, oil pressure and exhaust temperature.
2. Automatic Synchronization & Circuit‑breaker Management Automatically matches generator voltage, frequency and phase angle with busbar or utility grid. Executes controlled closing for generator circuit breaker (GCB) and mains circuit breaker (MCB). Supports open‑transition and closed‑transition paralleling operations.
3. Multi‑unit Peer‑to‑Peer Load Sharing Enables parallel operation for up to 32 generator sets. Distributes active power (kW) and reactive power (kVAR) evenly among paralleled gensets via CAN bus or Ethernet peer‑to‑peer communication. Prevents reverse‑power, overload and unbalanced load allocation across units.
4. Integrated Generator Protection Functions Built‑in comprehensive electrical protection: over‑voltage, under‑voltage, over‑frequency, under‑frequency, reverse power, over‑current, loss‑of‑excitation. Provides engine protection for low oil pressure, high coolant temperature and overspeed; triggers alarm or trip actions accordingly.
5. Advanced Power‑Management Logic Realizes peak‑shaving, import‑export power control, mains‑parallel grid‑connected operation and island‑mode standalone power supply. Equipped with LogicsManager™ programmable logic function, which can replace partial PLC logic for complex multi‑breaker power‑system interlock control.
6. Local HMI & Event Recording Front‑mounted LCD display for local parameter checking, status observation and fault diagnosis. Stores time‑stamped event logs, alarm history and fault records for post‑failure analysis. Multi‑language display is supported.
7. Rich Industrial Communication Interfaces Equipped with Ethernet (Modbus‑TCP), RS‑485 Modbus‑RTU, dual CAN bus and USB ports. Connects to DCS, SCADA or remote monitoring system; supports Woodward ToolKit software for parameter configuration, online debugging and firmware upgrade.
8. Flexible I/O & Expansion Capacity Configurable digital and analog input/output terminals. CANopen bus supports remote I/O expansion. Compatible with external AVR and speed actuators to complete closed‑loop speed‑voltage regulation for generator units.
9. Harsh‑environment Adaptability Wide DC power‑supply range (8‑40 VDC). Operating temperature range:‑20 °C ~ +70 °C; low‑temperature variant supports‑40 °C. Suitable for industrial, marine and offshore vibration‑prone working conditions.
