Main Functions

1. COMI-BUS High-speed Expansion Communication It communicates with COMI-LX master motion card via COMIZOA dedicated COMI-BUS. Real-time transmission of digital I/O status, analog sampling values and alarm signals between main motion card and remote I/O module. Multiple COMI-SD series modules can be cascaded to expand I/O points for large automation equipment.
2. 4-channel Analog Input (AI) & 4-channel Digital Output (DO) COMI-SD414 provides 4 channels of analog input for collecting 4-20mA / 0-10V analog signals from pressure sensors, displacement sensors, load cells and other analog transducers. It also has 4 channels of isolated digital output to drive relays, solenoid valves, indicator lights and trigger signals.plcva.com
3. Optical Isolation for Field Signals All field I/O channels adopt opto-coupler isolation, protecting the host motion control card from surge, common-mode noise and short-circuit faults on machine field wiring, improving system anti-interference capability in factory harsh electromagnetic environment.
4. Signal Sampling & Data Filtering Onboard hardware filtering for analog input channels to suppress high-frequency noise. It converts analog field signals into digital values and transmits them to the master COMI-LX motion card for motion logic calculation, closed-loop monitoring and process interlock.
5. Diagnosis & Fault Feedback The module continuously monitors power status, COMI-BUS communication link and channel fault status. When disconnection, short circuit or bus communication failure occurs, it sends diagnostic alarm information back to the main motion card for host software to trigger alarms or safety stop.
6. Seamless Software Integration Supported by COMIZOA COMI-XMaster configuration software and motion library (C/C++, VB, Delphi). All I/O points of COMI-SD414 can be directly read/written in the same motion program together with axis motion commands of COMI-LX series cards.

COMI-SD414 V7.00 is a remote field I/O slave module matched with COMIZOA COMI-LX motion control cards. It is installed near machine actuators and sensors to reduce long-distance analog signal wiring. Typical applications:
