Main Functions

1. VME Backplane Master Control & Data Processing It acts as VME bus master to access all slave modules installed in the same VME chassis. It reads data from I/O cards, encoder modules and analog boards, runs user control programs, and outputs control commands to drive field actuators. It handles VME bus arbitration, address decoding and high-speed data transfer between rack modules.
2. Motion Control Calculation & Axis Command Generation This board performs trajectory planning, position closed-loop calculation and speed profile generation for multi-axis servo motion systems. It outputs motion setpoints and receives encoder feedback signals to realize point-to-point positioning, synchronized multi-axis movement and contour motion control for high-precision machinery.
3. Real-time Logic & Interlock Execution Executes deterministic sequential control logic, safety interlock and alarm threshold judgement. It monitors critical field signals; once abnormal status is detected, it triggers safety interlock actions and stops machine operation to protect equipment.
4. Onboard Data Storage & Firmware Management Equipped with onboard Flash and RAM for storing system firmware, user application programs, motion parameters and production runtime data. It supports firmware upgrade and parameter backup via VME bus or dedicated debug port.
5. System Diagnostics & Fault Reporting Built-in hardware self-test function for power-on self-diagnosis. It continuously monitors VME bus communication, onboard chip status and connected module health. Fault codes and alarm information can be uploaded to HMI or host supervisory system for maintenance troubleshooting.More products: www.plcva.com
6. Communication Interface Handling It manages internal VME bus communication, and supports data exchange with external supervisory systems via serial or network interfaces. It can exchange real-time operating status, setpoints and fault messages with upper-level SCADA or operator panels.
