1. Analog & Digital Signal Sampling and Signal Conditioning It collects analog sensor signals including pressure, temperature, gas flow and vacuum readings, as well as digital discrete signals from limit switches, valves and chamber interlock loops. It performs signal filtering, amplification and isolation to convert raw field signals into standard signals readable by the main controller.
2. Subsystem Logic Control & Actuator Drive Executes local logic control commands received from the host system. It outputs drive signals to control solenoid valves, relays and small actuators inside the process chamber, to regulate gas delivery, venting and auxiliary mechanical sequences.
3. Industrial Bus Interface & Data Exchange Communicates with the main equipment controller via internal industrial bus. It uploads real-time sensor status, channel data and fault information, and downloads operation parameters and recipe triggers. 4. Safety Interlock Monitoring & Fault Protection Monitors safety loop signals, emergency stop (EMO) and hardware limit status. It triggers signal interlock and locks actuator outputs once abnormal conditions are detected, preventing unsafe chamber operation and protecting equipment hardware.
5. Power-on Self-test & Onboard Diagnostics Runs self-diagnosis during power-up to verify circuit and channel integrity. Onboard LED indicators show power status, communication link and channel faults for fast on-site maintenance and troubleshooting. It records abnormal events for equipment log.
