Functions

Designed for Tricon TMR triple modular redundant safety control system. It is a dedicated terminal assembly matching Tricon I/O modules, acting as signal transition interface between field wiring and Tricon I/O modules.
Provides standardized wiring terminals to collect cables from field transmitters, solenoid valves and sensors. It connects to rack-based I/O modules via dedicated flat cables.
Equipped with wiring points for signal loops. Fuses can be installed on selected loops to separate signal wiring and power wiring. It simplifies field installation, circuit verification and troubleshooting.
Creates a physical separation between field external circuits and rack control modules. Field loops can be disconnected independently during maintenance without removing modules. Supports standard DIN rail mounting inside control cabinets.
Cannot operate independently. It must be used together with compatible Tricon analog or digital I/O modules.

Used in Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) and Emergency Shutdown Systems (ESD) for oil & gas, petrochemical, coal chemical, power plants and LNG facilities.
Supplied as spare parts for legacy Tricon systems, applied in equipment maintenance, component replacement and revamping of old production plants. Trident series components are recommended for new projects.
Receives wiring from pressure/temperature/level transmitters, shutdown solenoid valves, relays and alarm devices to build process safety interlock loops.
Typical applications: compressor anti-surge protection, reactor safety interlock, emergency shutdown circuits, signal wiring for flare control systems.
