Main Functions

32-channel analog signal acquisition with TMR voting It collects 0–5VDC differential analog signals from field transmitters. Three independent signal processing legs perform simultaneous sampling and 2-out-of-3 hardware voting. Single channel fault will not lead to wrong reading or unwanted trip, meeting SIL3 safety integrity level (IEC61508).
High precision analog-to-digital conversion 12-bit resolution, accuracy less than 0.15% full scale range. Converts analog field measurements into digital data and transmits to Tricon main processor via TriBus backplane bus.
Comprehensive built-in diagnostics Continuously monitor circuit health, channel deviation, wiring faults and signal overrange. It generates fault alarms and records failure events for maintenance personnel.
Hot-swap capability Supports online replacement while the SIS system keeps running. No need to shut down the whole safety system during module maintenance, minimizing plant downtime.
Backplane communication via TriBus Interacts with Tricon main processor and other I/O modules on the backplane, uploading voted analog measurement data and receiving system configuration commands.
Rugged industrial hardware design Works under wide temperature range for harsh factory and offshore environments, with strong common-mode noise rejection to resist industrial interference.
